CHARITY DIP OFF RULES

Love tailgating for sporting events with your favorite snack foods? Us too. That's why we'd like to invite you to join us as a competitor for our Charity Dip Off! Buffalo Chicken, Taco, you name it. We're here for all the tasty dips. If you think you've got what it takes to make the best dip, make sure you sign up as a competitor.

Entry fee is a $20 donation. All donations will go to the winning cook's charity of choice.

The winner of our Charity Dip Off will get to select the charity that will receive the donations. They'll also receive a $25 Recon Brewing gift card.

Competitor Rules & Information

• The dip with the most votes will be crowned the Recon Brewing Charity Dip Off winner. We recommend bringing a large batch of dip with you. Remember - this goes by votes so if you run out of dip, you could be missing out on votes!
  Please prepare your dip entry prior to arriving at Recon Brewing for the event.
  Use your favorite recipe - there are no rules over the kind of dip you compete with. We do ask that you please have a complete list of ingredients readily available in the event that tasters have allergy concerns. If using peanuts or peanut oil, please display a sign.
  Competitors are responsible for bringing their own warming equipment.
  Sampling cups, white chips, and napkins will be provided by Recon Brewing. If your dip requires a different taster, such as pita bread, we ask that you provide it.
  Serving beings at 1pm and will continue until 4pm.
  Set up begins at 12pm when our doors open. Public sampling begins at 1pm.

JUDGING

Do you love dips? Come be our judge!

 

OFFICIAL JUDGE - $20 DONATION

• sample dip from each of the contestants

• 25 vote tickets

• bowl of their favorite dip

10 ADDITIONAL VOTE - $5 DONATION

• 10 vote tickets

​

​

ALL funds from entry fees and tickets will be donated to the charity of the winner's choice.

HOW TO SIGN UP

Interested in signing up as a participant or judge? Stop by the brewery and let our bartenders know or give us a call to get on the list. Donations are due the day of the event but we ask that you turn in your donation when you sign up if possible.
