Recon Brewing is a craft brewery located in Butler, Pennsylvania - conveniently located on RT 8 past the Clearview Mall. We first opened our doors in May 2017 and have quickly become a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike.
At Recon Brewing, we take pride in crafting high-quality beers that are as unique as the people who drink them. Our taproom provides the perfect setting to enjoy a pint or two with friends, family, or colleagues. We offer a diverse range of beers, from traditional styles like IPAs and stouts to experimental and innovative brews. Join us at the taproom and experience the passion and creativity that goes into every pint we pour.
We do not accept reservations. If you are looking to book an event or bring a larger group to the taproom, please complete our 'Event Request Form' so that our management team can get in touch with you.
Our patio area is pet-friendly but our indoor taproom is not.
Quench Your Thirst
Our tap list offers nine Recon Brewing beers, brewed in-house in Butler, and one guest tap - typically a cider, mead, or seltzer. Growler fills are only available for the Recon Brewing beers on tap.
Recon Brewing also offer specialty cocktails and wines. Our featured cocktails feature PA spirits, local wines, and carry Stateside Vodka Sodas.
For our guests who are not yet of legal drinking age, or who just wish to enjoy a non-alcoholic beverage, we offer a variety of mocktails, sodas, iced tea, lemonade, & juice boxes.
What's Cooking at Recon
Recon Brewing is home to a small menu of food items that are designed to perfectly compliment our beers. From simple appetizers to delicious flatbreads, we have something on the menu for everyone to enjoy.
We now offer plant-based mozzarella cheese! Substitute it today at no additional cost.

Recon Brewing is the perfect spot to gather with friends and family for a good time! We host a variety of events throughout the year - including live music, trivia, charity fundraisers, & more. On Wednesdays, you can stop in to test your knowledge with DJ Trivia and compete for prizes.
